Week 4 Post

The end result of this project is that it went as planned. I cooked a variety of meals that I'm happy with and I was able to record what I did and learned in my journal. Fortunately, my presentation went as planned also. I've gained a great mass of knowledge about cooking from this project. For example, I now know the safety rules like curling your fingers when you're cutting with a knife. Also, I can now make basic foods with recipes, which I learned to read. Cooking will help me in my future so I can cook healthier meals for my family or myself.

Week 3 Post

So far I've succeeded in keeping track of my progress and meals I've helped with and learning different things about cooking. Also, I've failed in helping with meals frequently. I do it only about once a week which should be adjusted to every other day.

Week 2 Post

Throughout the six weeks, I hope to make at least 1-2 full dinners. This includes that all of the food is made by me, and all of the few touches like the table being set. Also, I wish to cook different types of foods to learn something new everytime.

Week 1 Post

To get prepared for the project, I did several of things.  First, I made sure I had a kitchen. After I found out I actually had a kitchen, I grabbed books to look at different recipes. Also, I've started to make my own lunch. Finally, I decided to help on Thanksgiving to actually cook something for a change. I won't be surprised if I ruin one of the best days of the year for my family.

Intro to Risk

For my risk, I've decided to cook a variety of different foods. I'll bring something "good" for the class on January 7, 2015. You can give me ideas because I have no clue what to cook for the class.
